Electric
Mountain Biking.
We have a unique activity, which encourages less active individuals and groups
within the community to be more adventurous, but at a chosen pace and effort.
With new advances in technology, electric mountain biking can be used as a
positive foundation for the introduction of traditional mountain biking which
obviously requires more physical effort. With double battery power packs these
bikes can travel up to 50mile, before recharging is required.
Recent bookings for this activity have come from lots of different user groups,
for example, schools, senior citizen groups, GP referrals and interest from the
local Primary Care Trust.
What we can
offer: (Low level and Advanced)
What we can offer option one, activity ratio of 1
instructor to a maximum of 7 participants, or option two, 2 instructors to a
maximum of 14 participants.
We supply all Electric Mountain bikes and appropriate safety equipment.
Due to the limited frame sizes available, participants need to at least a
minimum of 5ft 3” in height to be
able to ride these bikes safely.
Minimum activity time for both low level and
advanced mountain biking sessions is 3 hours. Cost per hour is £45.00 for
option one, £65.00 per hour for option two.
Due to the nature of the mobile service, we do charge additional fees for
instructor(s) travel time and out of pocket expenses. No additional fees would
be included if your group can travel to our activity centre.
Please note that volunteers, mentors, etc need to
be included in the coach to participant ratios figures.
