Power kiting
We are able to work with you and formulate a kite activity plan, whether it’s a
one off taster session to experience the trills of kiting, or to introduce kite
sports, which also includes buggies and boards into an after-school club or
community project.
We work with young people who are aged 10 or above. Different kite sizes means that we can cater for young people of different ages and body
weight, when taking into account different wind strengths. Power kites have
safety systems, so that there is very little risk involved, which is ideal for
young people participating in this exciting sport for the first time.
Not only is Kite Sports something different, but it is very versatile, for
example, you can be as extreme as you want to be, which in effect means that
you don't have to be the ultimate adventurer.
Because power kiting is so accessible we can offer this at either our activity
centre, our take it mobile to a venue which is more suitable for the needs of
your group.
All our instructors are experienced and are trained to the worldwide recognised
IKO standard.
Due to the nature of power kiting and the need for appropriate weather
conditions, a session may have to be cancelled, whereby an alternative activity
or date can be made. If these options are not suitable, no fee would be
charged for the booking.
What we can offer:
We provide all power kites and appropriate safety equipment.
Instructor to participant ratio for low level power kite taster session is 1-12.
Minimum session time is 2 hours @ £45.00 per hour.
Instructor to participant ratio for low level power kite taster session is 2–24. Minimum session time is 2 hours @ £65.00 per hour.
Due to the nature of a mobile service, we do charge additional fees for
instructor(s) travel time and out of pocket expenses.
A structured course of kite sports activities
can also be tailored to your group and would teach them everything from safety
aspects to kite control and the ultimate concept of kite and board, or kite and
buggy.
