Mountain Bike Activities
Due to our centre location we can offer a variety of different
levels of mountain biking opportunities, whether it’s an introduction to the
sport, or taking groups off-road, seeking more advanced and extreme trails.
Many of our qualified instructors are mountain
bike competitors, who are able to pass on their knowledge and expertise. With our ability to provide taster or
advanced coaching sessions, we are able to pitch our sessions to the ability
and demands of a particular group. Our sessions are made fun, competitive and
educational, whilst maintaining a safe and controlled environment.
What we can offer: (Low level, Site
Specific)
We provide all Mountain Bikes and appropriate safety equipment.
We can cater for a maximum of 14 children or younger adults per session.
Participants need to be the age of eleven or above.
Coach to participant ratio for low level site specific mountain bike taster
session is
1–14 (based around grassed area and/or BMX track). Minimum session time for
site specific low level mountain biking is three hours @ £45.00 per hour.
What we can offer: (Advanced level, Off-road
Trails)
We provide all Mountain Bikes and appropriate safety equipment.
Coach to participant ratio for off- ride advanced mountain bike session is 1–7.
Minimum session time for off-road advanced mountain biking is three hours @ £45.00
per hour, for a maximum of 7 participants.
Coach to participant ratio for off- ride advanced mountain bike session is 2–14.
Minimum session time for off-road advanced mountain biking is three hours @
£65.00 per hour, from 8 to a maximum of 14 participants.
Due to the nature of the mobile service, we do charge additional fees for
instructor(s) travel time and out of pocket expenses. No additional fees would
be included if your group can travel to our activity centre.
Please note that, volunteers, mentors, etc need to be included in the coach to
participant ratios figures.
Additional Packages
We also offer a silver package, which is all the
above, but for an additional £3.00 per participant we provide a quality
certificate of achievement and a medal on a ribbon.
We also offer a gold package, which is all the above, but for an additional
£10.00 per participant we provide a quality mountain bike race shirt,
certificate of achievement and a medal on a ribbon.
