BMX racing and cycling games

Mansfield Wheels BMX Club and Activity Centre can boast one of the best BMX track facilities in the country, which holds national events and was used on a regular basis by World Champion ‘Shanaze Reade’ attempts to win a gold medal at the 2008 Olympics in China.

We are very passionate about the sport of BMX, whereby all of our instructors are active competitors, competing at both national and international level.  With years of experience, we are able to pass on our knowledge and expertise to all abilities, whether it’s a group of young people who have never ridden around a BMX track, or individuals or groups who ride bikes regularly, but want to improve their track skills. With our ability to provide taster or advanced coaching sessions, we are able to pitch our sessions to the ability and demands of a particular group. Our sessions are made fun, competitive and educational, whilst maintaining a safe and controlled environment.

What we can offer (Taster Session)

We can cater for a maximum of 16 children or younger adults per session.

Participants need to be the age of nine or above.

We provide all BMX bikes and appropriate safety equipment.

Coach to participant ratio for BMX taster session is 1–16.

We do run a buddy system when coaching a group of 1 - 16. (16 participants to 8 BMX bikes)

Minimum session time is two hours @ £45.00 per hour, based at our BMX track.

What we can offer (Advanced Session)

For more advanced BMX coaching sessions we provide all the above but to a coach to participant ratio of 2–16.

Minimum session time is two hours @ £65.00 per hour, based at our BMX track.

We can also provide outreach taster BMX sessions at a venue of your choice for the same fees, however due to the nature of a mobile service, we do charge additional fees for instructor(s) travel time and out of pocket expenses.

Additional Packages

We also offer a silver package, which is all the above, but for an additional £3.00 per participant we provide a quality certificate of achievement and a medal on a ribbon.

We also offer a gold package, which is all the above, but for an additional £10.00 per participant we provide a quality BMX race shirt, certificate of achievement and a medal on a ribbon.
